Reducing Energy Usage

Reducing Energy Usage

We have recently made improvements to our practice building to make us more energy efficient.

At the moment, out heating comes from the Bell Plantation’s own ground source heat pump.  Half of our electricity comes from renewables and we are hoping to increase this percentage.

We have dry lined our walls with British sheep’s wool insulation, which helps the British woollen industry and keeps us lovely and cosy at the same time!

Also, our lighting is now all LED, which will reduce electricity usage even more.

Beech House Vets have always tried to be as kind to our planet as we can and we have various other ways of doing this, like recycling and re-using.

As our world leaders have met at COP27, we are doing our bit to help the planet and help all our lovely patients and their owners!
